Norway: A prospective world leader for Green products export

With EU target to import 10 million tons of hydrogen by 2030, there arises the question of who is set to be the prime exporter to satiate these demands? Norway becomes a natural candidate thanks to its geographical proximity to the EU and is also perfectly poised thanks to having the largest share of zero-emissions electricity in all of Europe and strong governmental backing with clear hydrogen strategies, strong incentive packages and bilateral ties with prospective hydrogen markets.
With the EU setting itself for green product imports via hydrogen pipelines and ammonia terminals, Norway has all the characteristics to be a future champion exporter and also a leader of the E-fuels and green maritime industries.
